1. Introduction
TranZfort Logistics Technologies Pvt Ltd ("TranZfort", "we", "our", "us", "the Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our logistics marketplace mobile application ("App") and related services.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: TranZfort is a technology company that operates a digital marketplace platform connecting suppliers (shippers) with truckers (transporters). We are NOT a transportation company, logistics provider, freight forwarder, or common carrier. We do not own vehicles, employ drivers, or handle cargo. We merely facilitate connections between independent third parties.
By using TranZfort, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

By using TranZfort, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our App.
2. Data We Collect
We collect several types of information to provide and improve our services:
2.1 Personal Information
We collect the following personal information when you create an account or use our services:
Account Information:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (mobile)
- Profile photo
Business Information (for business users):
- Company name
- Business type (individual proprietorship, partnership, company)
- GST number (Goods and Services Tax)
- Business address

Contact Preferences:
- Preferred language (English, Hindi)
- Communication preferences (email, SMS, in-app notifications)
Account vs verification: You can install the App, create an account, and complete basic profile setup without submitting government ID. Identity and business documents are required to complete verification before you can post loads (suppliers) or accept loads and run trips (truckers).
2.2 Location Data
We collect location-related data only when you use features that need it:
Operating city and verification location:
- City and state you select or confirm during onboarding and verification
- Optional point-in-time GPS coordinates when you capture your verification location
Trip milestone snapshots (truckers):
- When a trucker advances certain trip stages (for example pickup or delivery confirmation), the App may capture a single foreground GPS coordinate at that moment
- These are stored as milestone records for dispute resolution — not as a continuous live feed
What we do not do:
- We do not collect background location
- We do not provide continuous vehicle tracking or a live map of your vehicle to other users
- We do not share your device location with counterparties in real time through TranZfort
2.3 Usage Data
We collect information about how you use our App:
Activity Data:
- Loads posted and their details

We collect identity and verification documents (address proof, PAN, business and vehicle registration) to verify your account. Documents are stored securely, are not shown to other users, and are deleted when you delete your account, except where law or an open dispute requires brief retention. You may submit Aadhaar, passport, or an electricity bill as address proof.
